Hi! Wow, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? The last newsletter I sent out was a year ago. I don’t even know how that happened. Where does the time go?

It’s been an incredibly busy year. I finished the book (!!!) and started a new job as the editorial director of Health.

As much as I can't wait for people to read the book, I am also a bit terrified. I struggled to find diverse resources that could help me decide if, when, and how I wanted to have kids and so I set out to create the book I needed. But it’s become so much more than that.

So When Are You Having Kids is chock full of research designed to help people understand where the desire (and pressure) to have kids comes from. It discusses everything from climate change to the history of pronatalism. It's meant to help people make the decision that works best for them and features stories from over 100 people on why they chose to (or not to) have kids. And I couldn’t have done it without all of the people who shared their stories with me. Hearing your stories, and getting to share some of them, has been the greatest privilege of my life. The book comes out in three months, and I can't believe I'm so close (but still a bit away) from the finish line. So far the book has some great early reviews and the editors at Audible named it one of their most anticipated fall releases.
